Crafted from top-tier materials, you can install this Pro Golf Enclosure in a commercial golf simulator or an upscale home. With hand-sewn golf screens and deep bays, these professional golf enclosures are both durable and beautiful. Carl's Pro Golf Simulator Enclosures will make an indoor space feel like you are truly on the golf course.

Pro Golf Simulator Enclosure Includes:

Premium Golf Impact Screen
Made of three layers of heavy-duty, tight-knit impact-resistant polyester. This is the smoothest surface available on a full-impact material. Plus, Carl's innovative cabled design lets the image go all the way to the turf for a truly golfable space.

Black Knit Enclosure
Black knit fabric surrounds your enclosure, shading your screen for a bright, clear image. The ceiling and side panels catch any errant shots, and with the smooth, black finish, they look good doing it.

Steel Fittings
The Pro Golf Enclosure Kit includes the steel fittings and elbows to construct all frame joints and corners. Pipes sold separately.

Ball Bungees and Zip Ties
We include all the fasteners you need to secure your enclosure and screen. Zip ties provide you with a plethora of options for tensioning your impact screen. And we give you enough ball bungees to find the perfect balance of tension for your specific swing style. Depending on how close you're hitting to the screen, ball speed, clubs used, and spin rates, you can adjust them all to find your sweet spot between tension and slack.

Pipe Framing Kit
Our Pipe Framing Kit is optional, but the pipes to build your frame are not. Skip the trip to the hardware store, this Pipe Framing Kit includes pre-cut and marked 2-inch EMT pipe in the exact lengths required for the Pro Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit - no pipe cutting or hauling required!

Safety Baffles
Baffles hang down from the ceiling to help catch and knock down high-angle shots that might bounce off the golf simulator screen. A fantastic option to protect golfers particularly in commercial golf simulators.

Foam Inserts
Surround your screen with soft memory foam to protect shots from striking the enclosure frame.

Back Cover and Back Cover Pipe Kit
Add an optional back cover to keep ambient light from leaking in or projector light from leaking out. You’ll feel like you’re actually on the fairway in the brightest and most immersive experience possible. Pipe kit for the back cover sold separately. If you're already cutting your own pipes for the enclosure, we imagine you may want to save some money and cut your own for the back cover as well. Or you order your pipes from us and get it all ready to assemble.

EMT Requirements
If you didn’t select the Pipe Framing Kit add-on, you’ll need to source 2-inch EMT (electrical metal tubing) from a local hardware store to complete your frame. Your kit includes detailed instructions on the required lengths and quantities.

Note: 2-inch EMT is the U.S. trade name, but the actual outer diameter is 2.197″ (55.8mm).

Q&A

Care & Use Information

How far should I stand from the impact screen?
For safety, we recommend standing at least 10-12 feet away from the screen.

Can I iron or steam my golf impact screen?
Ironing is not recommended, as it can damage the material. To prevent wrinkles, unpack your screen immediately and store it loosely folded. If wrinkles appear, tensioning the screen with zip ties or ball bungees and allowing it to relax for a few days can help. A clean, consumer-grade steamer with distilled water may also be used to speed up the wrinkle-removal process.

Can I wash my golf screen?
Check out our guide on how to clean your golf impact screen for full care instructions.

Are there safety concerns with golf simulators?
To ensure a safe experience:

  • Follow the assembly instructions carefully.
  • Keep children, pets, and spectators out of the swing zone.
  • Protect nearby walls, ceilings, windows, and valuables.
  • Review the terms of sale for safe usage guidelines.

Do I need a golf hitting mat?
A golf hitting mat provides a cushioned surface for comfortable swings while protecting your joints. It also enhances realism by allowing you to tee up at the right height. Choose a size based on your stance:

  • 4'x5': Ideal for most golfers using a driver.
  • 5'x7' or 4'x9': Suitable for wider stances or multi-user setups.

Golf Enclosure Information

What are the differences between Carl's Enclosure Kits?

  • DIY Golf Enclosure Kit: An affordable, entry-level setup for home golfers.
  • Pro Golf Enclosure Kit: A high-end, commercial-grade enclosure with deeper bays and extra safety features.
  • Curved Golf Enclosure Kit: A panoramic, seamless curved screen for a fully immersive experience.

How much space do I need?
When setting up your simulator, consider:

  • Buffer space to prevent damage from errant shots.
  • Enclosure footprint including built-in buffer space in C-Series models.
  • Safe distance of 10-12 feet between the golfer and the screen.
  • Ceiling height, club length, turf thickness, and room layout.

When will my enclosure ship?
Each enclosure is made to order, allowing for customization. Production times vary—add the item to your cart and enter shipping details for an estimated delivery date.

What happens if the black enclosure material gets hit?
The enclosure is designed to handle indirect impacts from balls that rebound off the white impact screen without issues.

Can I order a replacement screen?
Yes! Contact our customer service team at 608-352-0002 or check our clearance section for discounted replacement screens.

How big is the enclosure?
Check the resources section for exact frame dimensions. Note that C-Series enclosures include a 9.5" backset rear fitting for built-in buffer space. Larger enclosures may feature a crossbar for added support.

Installation

What pipes are needed for the frame?
Carl’s Pro Golf Enclosures require 2-inch EMT (Electrical Metal Tubing) for the frame. Options include:

  • Adding a Pipe Framing Kit for pre-cut, labeled pipes.
  • Sourcing EMT pipes locally (ensure availability before purchasing).

How long does assembly take?
Expect approximately 3 hours for assembly. Having an extra set of hands will make the process easier, especially for lifting and securing the frame.

What are EMT pipes?
EMT stands for Electrical Metal Tubing (also called conduit)—the sturdy pipes used to construct the enclosure frame. Our DIY enclosures use 1" EMT, while Pro and Curved enclosures require 2" EMT, which may be harder to find locally.

Where should I mount my projector?
Placement depends on your projector’s specs. Recommended locations:

  • Above the tee area (most common).
  • Flush-mounted on the ceiling for low ceilings.
  • Drop-mounted from the ceiling for high ceilings.
  • Frame-mounted to the enclosure for integrated setups.
  • Floor-mounted inside the simulator (requires a protective cover).

How do ball bungees work?
Ball bungees and zip ties secure the impact screen to the frame. To attach:

  1. Insert the loop end of the bungee through a grommet from the back of the screen.
  2. Pull through until the toggle ball touches the grommet.
  3. Stretch the cord around the frame.
  4. Hook the loop over the toggle ball to secure it in place.

This setup ensures the right tension for your screen while allowing flexibility for impact absorption.
